You are missing it.
If you've spoken with me at all in the past three months, you've probably learned that I adore The Hunger Games trilogy. I treat it like a literary monument; a golden standard by which all authors should aspire to meet. And the TL;DR reason why is "it's applicable to our global political climate."
You have a minority of privileged rich people (kinda like the first world) either dismissing the travesties of the developing world (nobody would blink if I told them "1 billion people are starving right now") or glorifying them and turning it into entertainment (case and point: Kony 2012). We're three-for-three in the "this is an allegory for our world" department. What else? Right, the privileged in THG are obsessed with appearance (check), and don't believe the situations of the developing communities to be that bad (also check).
The entire trilogy could be about revenge--I mean the entire thing is like The Treaty of Versaille as a Sci-Fi opera. It could be about holding politicians responsible for their actions. It could be shedding the "out of sight; out of mind" mentality that some first worlders have when it comes to global politics.
So what do people talk about after viewing/reading THG?
Fucking Peeta and Gale, the male love interests.

Click the link above for your very own copy of the rules of Decoherence, my homebrewed RPG – it's a flaming ripoff of the elements of various other RPGs that I think are the best, coupled to a small cluster of rules of my own design.
Such as they are, the rules make heavy reference to the 4E D&D rules, including some supplementary rules from the Adventurer's Vault book. You'll likely need a copy of those in order to make significant use of the system in combat contexts.
Following the conclusion of playtesting, Decoherence has undergone it's biggest overhaul to date, and I'm ready to call this version the final one! I'm not going to be actively working on this game anymore, but changes may still happen here or there: revisions for clarity, general editing, or to include suggestions and the like are always a possibility.

Rest in Peace, Daisy <3
May the beauty of Daisy's spirit be captured by each petal, and may her memory forever blossom in our hearts and fill us with the joy betokened by her namesake.

Just as the title says,
The kerfuffle was due to the comment component I used in the previous version of joomla had not been updated when Joomla was. But it has now, which means no more half-ass working comments that plagued the corner for a month or so.
Cheers!
